Ready, Set, GO!

Mango and the Jogathon committee are excited and hard at work getting the t-shirts ready and all the details down for our annual Jogathon on the morning of Friday, March 8th (Block day for TK/Kinder)!

COLLECT DONATIONS
Please take a moment now and send this link to family and friends to donate at 99pledges Marengo Jogathon website link. If you made a $90+ contribution to the PTA General Fund (not Wish Night) earlier this school year, we thank you! However, if you didn’t donate or want to give more, please consider donating to Jog-A-Thon, a long Marengo tradition. Let’s rally together to support Marengo and the extra programs, activities and events that use these funds to enrich our students’ experience at Marengo!

WIN FABULOUS PRIZES AND AWARDS

  • 2 popsicle parties awarded on March 1! Class with highest % donation participation and class with highest donation amount by March 1 assembly.
  • Donor comments shouted out to your runner! Grade level class with the highest % of donation participation by March 8th.
  • 2 popsicle parties awarded on March 15! Class with highest final % donation participation and class with highest final donation amount collected by March 15.
  • Top 2 runners in each grade will win awards!
  • Top 2 runners in the school will get special prizes
  • More prizes to be announced as we get closer to the event!

VOLUNTEER TO TALLY LAPS FOR YOUR CLASS
Support the event by volunteering to do the easy and FUN job of tallying laps for a small group of students in your classroom (including your student!).

Each race round will be 30 minutes and your student will love having you help to mark their backs after each lap! Look for your grade and classroom on the links below and sign up early for limited spots to tally!

*Volunteers check in 30 minutes before your classroom’s race, for more instructions please read the description on the signup link.

CHEER FOR STUDENTS
Families are welcome to come watch their students run and cheer them on! Below is a schedule of when each class’ races will happen.


Round 1: 8:30-9:00am – 2nd & 3rd grades
Round 2: 9:15-9:45am – 1st & 4th grades
Round 3: 10:00-10:30am – TK/Kinder & 5th grades
