What is the PTA?

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a national organization that brings together parents, teachers, school administrators and community leaders to advocate for the well-being and education of children.

The PTA also supports schools with fundraising, enrichment activities, family events and classroom supplies. By joining the PTA, you can make a difference in your child's school and beyond.

Become a PTA member for $7 per family member. This membership gives you the opportunity to vote at PTA meetings.

Volunteer

Volunteer your time, creativity and leadership. You can volunteer for just one hour or one year. Just sign up and let us know how you can help.

Donate

Donate what you can to help enrich the school lives of our students and build our family community.

It is a privilege to partner with members of the PTA to provide such a special and nurturing environment for our Marengo Lions. I encourage all families to join the PTA and to participate in PTA-sponsored events throughout the year. We are so fortunate to have such a strong and caring support system. There’s a difference between volunteering at a school event and attending one. I prefer volunteering because I meet more parents and staff, and know that what I am doing has a direct benefit on my child’s experience at school. I encourage other parents to get involved in the PTA because not only do we create fun for the kids, we have fun doing it.
